Is Life Too Short Or Too Long??
I am having one heck of a week and it is only Wednesday! My staff and I have been swamped with assisting people who want to join the boot camp. But that is a good thing, people realize there is some serious money to be made and 2007 seems to be the year of change for everyone!
I am leaving next week to go to Cozumel with some friends to relax and get some down time. I have never been before, but my husband suggested we take a few days spend some time away from phones and email and I thought, who am I to turn an offer like that down! We both have been working hard for our students, so we could use a little fun in the sun!
Lately I have been feeling like I have been getting so much bad news. I have friends and family members who are suffering tragedies. Just yesterday my daughter called and shared the sad news that a close friend of hers died in a snowmobiling accident the day before. He was only 20. Sometimes it just seems to be one thing after another. All of that stuff gets me to thinking hard about life. I know from personal experience that we can think we are healthy because we look fine on the outside and we feel good. Then the next thing you know we can be diagnosed with a terminal disease. We all know that tomorrow is not promised, but when we see things happening to people close to us it hits home a bit more. And so it makes me think about what is important in life and how I want to make my mark. First, I absolutely adore my husband and my daughter. They are a priority in my life and they make me smile. My brother and sister and other family members and friends mean the world to me too. People always say that life is too short to be unhappy, but life is also too long to be unhappy. I want to be able to live the way that I wish and spend time doing the things that make me the happiest. You can’t do that as effectively as you want when you do not control your own schedule. Forty hours a week of meeting someone else’s schedule is not my idea of spending my time the best way possible. Yet that is what I did the majority of my life, until I found real estate investing.
I see many of my students going through the transformation of having freedom and resources to do what they wish as well. And that is my goal for everyone who comes through my program. Everyone deserves to be their own boss and my mission is to assist as many people as possible in the Colorado area do just that!
Ready to be on the path to being your own boss? If so, I highly encourage you to come out to my next seminar, April 16th and hear about the power of real estate investing. Come see real life people just like you who had their lives changed! www.coloradorealestatesecrets.com
Bye for now
